A treatment plant to reduce the mercury emissions
One of the greatest actions was implemented already in 2009. That year we invested in a new treatment plant to reduce the mercury emissions. This was revolutionary technology and is still today the only one of it kind in a steel plant any place in the world.
The new treatment plant decreased mercury emissions from 83 kilo in 2008 to 3 kilo in 2014.
